The Wyandotte Lodge is perched on a scenic overlook, atop the banks of the famed AuSable River mainstream at McMasters Bridge. The AuSable River Valley is a world class flyfishing destination, among the Top 10 stream systems in the world. The over 200 miles of mainstream and branch rivers provide excellent canoeing, kayaking and camping opportunities. Year around fun can include hunting, hiking, biking, ATV’s, snow skiing and snowmobiling with hundreds of groomed miles of trails within minutes for every level of skier or sledder. We have a full guide service, too! The Wyandotte Lodge has accommodations for up to 50 people in a variety of sleeping and dining styles. The six riverfront cabins are self contained with kitchens, baths, and each has at least a double bed and sofa sleeper. The Lodge has seven sleeping rooms ranging from one double bed, two twins, two doubles and one king suite with adjoining full bath, directly outside of the hot tub spa with a breathtaking view up and down the AuSable River.
The Wyandotte Lodge is located just 20 miles east of Grayling, MI and within 20 miles of the communities of Roscommon, MI, Mio, MI, Lewiston, MI, St. Helen, MI on the AuSable River mainstream, famous for fishing, canoeing, kayaking, tubing and hunting. In the heart of the Huron National and AuSable State Forests, we are close to many area businesses like Gates Lodge, Ma Deeters in Luzerne, MI, Old AuSable Fly Shop, Bob Linsemen's Fly Shop and the nearby Amish settlement offers old world charm and value from baked goods to hardware. The Mackinaw Bridge and Mackinaw Island are a short 90 minute drive with many championship golf courses, like Garland, Forest Dunes,Treetops and Boyne Mountain within easy reach. For the gambler, there are three major casino's with an hour of our door.
